Calculator information

Values entered into our calculators are processed in your browser. The CheckCarCost calculator plugin does not intentionally send or save those values.

Accounts and submissions

The public-facing calculators do not require user accounts and calculator inputs are not intentionally stored. If you join the dealer interest list, we store the name, work email, company, role, selected feature interests, message, consent record, and submission date so we can assess demand and contact you about dealer tools.

Forms and retention

Dealer interest and contact submissions are stored privately in WordPress and are available to site administrators. They are used only to evaluate dealer-tool demand, respond to enquiries, handle corrections, and process privacy requests. Submissions should be reviewed and deleted when no longer needed, with a target maximum retention period of 12 months unless a longer period is required to resolve an active enquiry or comply with law.

Cookies and similar technologies

CheckCarCost may use strictly necessary cookies for website security, administration, and essential functionality. We may also use analytics and advertising technologies, including services provided by Google, subject to applicable consent requirements.
